Saturday snowstorm?

Due to predicted weather conditions the library will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, January 29, 2022.

It should be a perfect day to cozy up with a good book. Or, if we get 6-12 inches of snow, maybe save the book and hot chocolate for after sledding.

Have fun but stay safe!

Looking ahead 2022

We hope the pandemic will slow, and are making plans to resume our Wednesday morning story hour.  Details soon.

The Adult library is open regular hours, Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 6 pm and the Children’s Library is open Monday through Thursday, 12 pm to 5 pm.

We continue to offer curbside service, 11 am to 4 pm.

Be sure to stop by the Children’s Library to meet Mrs. Pew.   Mrs. Pew (or Ms Kim) is looking forward to meeting everyone.and sharing a special story tour of Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame.

The exhibit was created by the Vincentown Garden Club for the annual Christmas tour at the Smithville Mansion – the kids are sure to love it!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Observed the third Monday in January, celebrating the life and achievements of the Civil Rights leader, as well as a commitment to service

Burlington County residents are encouraged to join thousands of Americans across the country honoring Dr. King’s memory by participating in service projects in their communities. Together, we will remember his legacy of tolerance, peace and equality by making the holiday “a day on, not a day off.”

The Burlington County Library System invites you to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The library, in partnership with the Volunteer Center of Burlington County, will host the 16th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Challenge on Monday, Jan. 17 from 10 am to 3 pm, at the headquarters location of the Burlington County Library in Westampton.

Weather or not?

Will we have snow Thursday night? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Be prepared! Stop by the library to pick up a few books for the weekend.

The library will be open Thursday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

See you then!
