RJ HAAS WINTER ART RAFFLE

We are proud to be offering the opportunity to own not only an original oil painting by RJ Haas, but one with such meaning to those who hail from our community. “Winter View from the Library” is a beautiful winter scene, depicting the view from the front of our library, looking up Main Street, Vincentown.

Thanks to a favorite artist, we are holding a Winter Art Raffle, with all proceeds benefitting the library!

For $10.00 a ticket you are not only supporting our beloved library, but also owning an original piece of art work in oil by a well-known local artist, RJ Haas. The picture with frame measures 17 3/4″ x 15 3/4″.

Stop in today and pick up your tickets. Tickets are only available for a limited time, so be sure to secure your chance to win today!!

As January winds down

The snow has gone (for now) and we’re looking forward to a few warmer, wetter days. That will certainly get us in the mood for spring, thinking about gardening, fishing, baseball, the beach! BUT, winter is not over yet.

So why not stop by the library, pick up a few books. These are the days to enjoy a good story while sitting in a warm cozy chair, read cookbooks with recipes you have no intention of making, plan a vegetable garden, look into a new hobby, learn more about that sport your child plays.

Also at the library, don’t forget Wednesday story hour, 10:30 a.m., with Miss Kim. Be sure to give her a call to let her know you’re coming.

The second Thursday of each month, 7 pm, the Keen Readers book club, led by Denise Pargeter, meets at the library. The book club is always happy to have new members with different reading interests. Leave your contact information so Denise can get in touch with you.

Cards are so expensive these days – why not make your own? The library will be hosting a Valentine card kit class, Creative Memories, presented by Debra Moorer.  The class is for all skill levels, open to adults and children and will be held on

Sign up early to reserve your space!

*A class fee of $5.50 is charged by the presenter for materials

JANUARY 16, 2023

We will be following the County Library guidelines for today. Please stay home and wait for the township to take care of our roads. We will hang the open sign at 12:30 today. If you need any assistance from us here at the library, please feel free to call. Enjoy the snow from the comfort of your couch with your book in one hand and a warm cup of tea in the other.
