Welcome Spring!

Finally! It’s been a rough winter! Hopefully, now we can put all that ice and snow out of our minds and look ahead to warmer temperatures. It’s time to admire the color and beauty of spring: daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, cherry and dogwood blossoms. Time to think about playing outside and gardening! Or, sitting outside with a good book in the sun and just relaxing.

Be sure to stop by the library to say hello and check out a book for that relaxing read outdoors. And, while there check out the beautifully restored floors and fixtures.

In the Children’s Library Miss Kim has been thinking about the summer reading kickoff and the Memorial Day Parade. This summer the theme is Unearth a Story which automatically makes you think of DINOSAURS! So of course she is looking for dinosaur volunteers between ages 1-100 to join the library in the parade. Give her a call (609-859-9002) if your young Tyrannosaurus rex or Brachiosaurus are interested.

The Children’s Library is looking for young authors in 3rd – 5th grade, to join a spring writers workshop.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Perfectly Preserved

Absolutely beautiful, amazing, lovely! These are just of few of the comments from our patrons as they enter. Always lovely, the library has now been painstakingly restored to her original beauty. Be sure to visit and see for yourself and let us know what you think.

There are just a few things left to do, but the work is done and the Adult Library is open. If you haven’t been by, stop in and see us. And save the date, May 9th at Arts in the Village Market Day we will be celebrating the completion and all our supporters like you.
