July 22 – 26

This Friday we’re ending the month with a great fundraiser at the Red Top Market! Pop in the library and take a look at a sampling of baskets available. Come in and buy some tickets early and increase your chances on taking home one of these magnificent prizes!!! An original painting my our very own Nancy Gower, a basket from Bagliani’s, perhaps the margarita basket is more to your liking!!

Mark this one on your calendar – it’s a great event!

What else is happening?

Story hour on Wednesday will be all about lightning bugs (or fireflies). Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to come and enjoy stories and a craft all about these magical summertime insects.

Wednesday 10:30 a.m

Wednesday afternoon we’ll be having program for school age kids. If you like shrink dinks and have nothing to do Wednesday afternoon, stop by the library after 2 pm.

We look forward to seeing you!

Guess what’s happening this Thursday/

This year’s contest should once again, be a winner and the weather forecast says cooler temperatures. So come on down to the library, with or without a frog, and enjoy the competition!

If you’re bringing your frog to enter, registration begins at 5:30 pm, on the back lawn. Be sure you’ve named your frog, so we know who to call out and cheer on!

Also, we want to hear about how you caught the little “tadpole”, so dream up a good story to tell us. We love to hear stories, and will give an award for the best one.

Medals will be given to the top 3 jumpers!

And don’t forget about the early evening at Red Top Market to benefit the library!
