It’s National Library Week so by sure to visit your local library!

Here’s a book suggestion for our Story-time visitors tomorrow since April is
National Poetry Month.

With My Hands:  Poems About Making Things

We’ll be making things at our Third Thursday Story/Art/Craft hour on April 19th
as we celebrate Earth Day.

AND…

An Earth Day after school drop-in craft is planned for kids over 6 years.  Stop by the library on Wednesday (April 18) or Thursday (April 19), after 3 pm.

We welcome warmer temperatures this week and maybe some sunshine!  Hopefully we’ve seen the end of the March Nor’easters.

Wednesday story hour has been interrupted a couple of times this month because of weather related troubles but Mrs. King plans to be there this week.  Story time begins at 10:30 a.m.

Baby and Toddler time will also return this week on Thursday morning at 11 a.m.  Call to let us know if you would like to join us! (609-859-9002)

Update:

Due to the impending Nor’Easter the library will be closed

If weather predictions prove true the library will also possibly close on
Thursday, March 22, 2018

Story Hours will resume next week – See you then!

We welcome spring today with open arms but it looks like it’s arriving with an unexpected guest – another Nor-easter!  If the library should close because of the weather we will keep you posted.  Story hour participants will be notified.

Stitchin with Sally is tomorrow, Thursday, March 15th.  Bring along all your Springtime projects to share!

We will not be having Baby & Toddler storytime Thursday morning – See everyone next Thursday.

The Third Thursday Story/Craft is cancelled tomorrow.  See you all next month (April 19th) for an Earth Day Craft.

The Library will be closed today.

Story Hour has been cancelled today.  I’ve tried to contact everyone on my weekly list and left messages – hope they’ve been received!

The Adult Library will be open until 1 p.m.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to support the library on Saturday.  We may have had a Nor’Easter on Friday but the weather cleared and it turned out to be a bright, sunny Saturday morning.

**POSTPONED**–Wednesday, weather permitting, we will be having a special guest for story time.  Be sure to check back to make sure the library will be open.

This Saturday March 3, 2018 marks the 22nd Jade Run 5K

Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. in the Children’s Library.
Participants can check in and pick up their shirts at the library then head down to the Vincent Fire Company for a pre-race/walk snack and warm beverage.

5K start time 9 a.m.  –   1 Mile Fun Walk immediately following

The library will open at 11 a.m. this Saturday –  several roads will be closed for the Jade Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk.
