Call for information and please let us know you ‘re coming!
As always, story hour Wednesday is ongoing.  Though usually well attended, we’re happy to see new faces.  If you’re new to our story hour please give a call (859-9002) and let us know you’re coming!
Last but not least, the Sally Stretch Keen Memorial Library’s big fundraising event of the year is quickly approaching –

The official holiday kick-off!

There was perfect weather on Friday evening for the holiday tree lighting in Vincentown.  A large crowd assembled to enjoy the arrival of Santa, children singing and even some tasty snacks.

Be sure to check out the Southampton Events calendar for activities throughout the month.

And don’t forget to step out next Sunday, December 10th, to listen as the Girl Scouts raise their voices in song as they stroll through town.  There will be hot chocolate and cookies at the library following the caroling.

Is that winter around the corner?

Time to put away the flip-flops, it looks like there’s a change in the weather.

To reinforce that reality the Southampton Historical Society will be holding it’s annual Christmas in November, Saturday, November 11th.  Be sure to stop by to visit Marsha and Judy as they promote the library and their “Stitching with Sally” group.
This coming week we’ll be talking turkey at story time since next Wednesday is the day before Thanksgiving.
A Fun for fours & fives Thanksgiving story and craft will be held on November 16th at 2 pm.  Be sure to give a call to let us know you’re attending!

Election Day

The library is closed today, Election Day, November 7, 2017.  Get out and vote!

The Burlington County Library Headquarters location in Westampton is open 9 am to 5 pm, all branch libraries are closed.  Updates have been scheduled today for the library catalog and will be unavailable for a time.  Be sure to check later to see the new “improved” catalog!

Halloween Celebrations!

We celebrated Halloween at story time today and paraded through the library with Jasmine, a race car driver, a policeman, a fireman, a mermaid, a transformer and lots of other celebrities!  We read stories of witches and monsters, sang and created a wiggling black cat – I hope everyone had fun, I did!  All the kids looked GREAT in their Halloween costumes (so did Miss Marsha!).

Baby & Me will not be held tomorrow, October 26th. but will begin again in November.

Tomorrow in “Fun for fours & fives, we’ll be reading about pumpkins and painting with watercolors (pumpkin pictures) – should be fun (and messy)!

See you at the Halloween Parade on Tuesday (Story time following at the library) and Trick or Treating on Halloween night.  Be sure to stop by and visit us!
