August 23-28

Regular hours have resumed at the library – we’re open again Monday through Thursday, 10 am – 6 pm and Saturdays 10 am – 2 pm.

Summer’s winding down but activities continue in the Children’s Library.

Children, ages 3-5, are invited to come enjoy stories and a craft, Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am. Please call the library if you plan to attend. Masks are required for all participants.

Thursday afternoons kids, over 6 years, are welcome to come get creative. We’ve been painting with watercolors – such artists! The program is held Thursday, 2 pm. Please call the library if you would like to attend. Masks required!

Summer Fun!

Slowly we are getting back into the swing with a few summer activities for kids.

Our Wednesday morning story hour has returned to the regular 10:30 am time, and is indoors (too much HEAT!). Please call the Children’s Library to reserve a space. Masks required.

Thursday, July 8th – Pop Up Craft

Stop by the Library and make a Scratch Art Bookmark or Origami Bookmark! (Registration is not necessary for the Pop-up craft.)

Registration is necessary for all programs to allow for distancing!

Let Summer Begin!

Finally we’re getting back in the swing of things and are planning Summer Programs in the Children’s Library!

– This page will be updated as they’re scheduled.

When weather permits (not too stifling hot or stormy), programs may be outdoors, but most will probably be indoors.  The number of participants will be kept fairly low to allow for social distancing. Masks are required for indoor programs for the protection of our young participants.
