Story Hour has been cancelled today.  I’ve tried to contact everyone on my weekly list and left messages – hope they’ve been received!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to support the library on Saturday.  We may have had a Nor’Easter on Friday but the weather cleared and it turned out to be a bright, sunny Saturday morning.

**POSTPONED**–Wednesday, weather permitting, we will be having a special guest for story time.  Be sure to check back to make sure the library will be open.

This Saturday March 3, 2018 marks the 22nd Jade Run 5K

Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. in the Children’s Library.
Participants can check in and pick up their shirts at the library then head down to the Vincent Fire Company for a pre-race/walk snack and warm beverage.

5K start time 9 a.m.  –   1 Mile Fun Walk immediately following

The library will open at 11 a.m. this Saturday –  several roads will be closed for the Jade Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk.

President’s Day

The library will be closed Monday, February 19, 2018 for President’s Day.

Valentine Craft

Kids (over 5) are invited to drop by the library after school on Tuesday to craft a Valentine gift for that special someone!  The Valentine craft can be picked up on Wednesday.

Guess what the subject of Wednesday’s story time will be… Valentines!  We’ll read stories and make Valentine cards.  Paper and glue stick, perfect together!

Baby & Toddler Story/play time is Thursday morning at 11 am.  Interested?  Give us a call!

This will be the third Thursday of the month so Stitching with Sally will be happening at 1 pm and again at 6:30 pm.  Come out and work on your needlework project with our friendly group.

Our Third Thursday Story Art/Craft will be this week, 2pm, and the subject is Polar Bears!  Kids over 4 years of age are invited.  Give us a call to let us know you’re coming.

The weather’s getting a bit warmer – perfect for running (or walking)!  Come out and support our community library!

We’re closing out January this week with a Hats & Mittens story time – hopefully we can put them away and be DONE with cold and snow!  If you’re new to story time be sure to give us a call 609-859-9002.

Our February Baby & Toddler starts this Thursday, February 1st.  Babies up to 24 months and caregivers are invited.  Again, please give us a call if you’ll be coming.  Program begins at 11 am.
Stitching with Sally (first Thursday of the month) is this week, February 1st. New members are always welcome!

Looking ahead to next week the Keen Readers book group will be discussing Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi.  The group meets the second Thursday of each month, 7 pm at the library.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and children are invited to stop by the library on Tuesday, February 13th to craft a Valentine for that special someone.  The craft can be picked up on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday, February 14th.

The Third Thursday Craft (ages 4-7) will be February 15th.  Details to follow.

AND don’t forget to get out to begin training for the Jade Run 5K!!!  The event will be held rain or shine, on March 3rd.  Come out and show your support for the library!

22nd Jade Run 5K & Family Fun Walk

Only 40 days left to get out and train!  Our 22nd Jade Run 5K will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018.  Stop by the library to pick up a registration or go to Runsignup.com to register online.

This week’s Wednesday morning story and craft will be about Penguins!
