The 2022 Local Art Exhibit and Sale will be held this evening and Saturday afternoon at the library. Local scenes by over 20 artists will be on display in the historic Vincentown Library. Afterwards, stop next store to enjoy a light wine and cheese refreshment.

We’re looking forward to a SUNNY Saturday, September 24th for Arts in the Village.

Be sure to stop to pick up a few good titles at the library book sale, and grab a cup of coffee and snack at Sally’s Cafe while the kids create a beaded Autumnal Jewel – Indian corn!

Today was such a glorious day to get outdoors…and we did just that! We took our paints, brushes and canvas boards behind the library to paint. That “bit” of summer breeze hardly discouraged our artists!

A good “old” friend of the library has dedicated and shared some of her art to encourage young readers.

For a confirmation project Kate decided to give something back to the library, which gave her so much as she was growing up.  

All of the pictures are free hand drawings with marker and/or colored pencil. They’re beautiful!

All kinds of things are happening at the Childrens Library this week!! Need a break from the heat? Pop over and see us, we have books, some cool crafts and more! A HUMONGOUS thank you to our local Girl Scouts – you guys are the best troop!!!

Does your bear have a booboo? Is your stuffie under the weather? Kids are are invited to stop in for our stuffed animal clinic on Tuesday!

as the crowd gathered on the back lawn of the Vincentown Library to celebrate the first ever Frog Jump, organized by Mrs Pew (aka Ms Kim).  Yes indeed, it was an evening to remember.  Registration was brisk with the number of entries topping at a grand total of 31!  Froggy, Astro, Leo, Sonic, Bunz, Beans, Bob Ross, Bob Ross Jr., and Fiona (to name just a few) were all proudly entered into the event by their Frog Jockeys.  

Enthusiasm and nervousness built as Ms Kim proceeded to explain the rules to the contestants. 

Well, the results were tallied and there’s probably no reason to reveal the winner of the farthest jump…

Medals for longest jump in under 6 age group; over 6 age group and a medal awarded for the longest 1st recorded jump (both age groups included)

Such a great evening! 

All frogs were promised to be returned to their homes to tell the story of their participation in the first Vincentown Library Frog Jump!

This week is all about Frogs at the Vincentown Library. Miss Kim will be back with her Wednesday Story hour featuring FROGS and a FROG craft.

Wednesday evening HOPefully, FROGS will be hopping at the FROG jumping contest!

AND our Thursday group of artists will be painting FROG rocks!
